What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind the events we throw. Fusing poetry, music, and community to build a brave space for real expression. Let us vent creates space for venting about the good, the bad, love, life, and everything in between.

For I am root, this event was founded in 2013. The L.U.V. (Let Us Vent) event has provided a platform for artists of all mediums to express the highs and lows of life. Over the years, L.U.V. has seen many forms from live and virtual events to a seasonal poetry contest with participants and winners from across the globe, including the U.S., Africa, and New Zealand. As we enter 2026, we’re thrilled to continue this flagship event, celebrating creativity, connection, and shared experiences.
